I was born in Queenstown back when it was little more than small lakeside farming community, with a short summer holiday season and the beginning of a ski industry.  Having grown up in Glenorchy in the mid-70s, loving my years at Whakatipu High School, enjoying everything the district has to offer, I have now returned to the district again so my family can put their own roots down.

I have worked in and led community development, economic regeneration, emergency management planning, and disaster response and recovery management in NZ, the UK, North America, and South-East Asia.

The work that Shaping Our Future has done adds real opportunities for community views, needs, and aspirations to be captured and effectively represented to decision-makers.
