Ever wondered what happens at a Shaping our Future Forum?

This short video is from our first Arrowtown public forum.

We bring our community members together to discuss your vision for the future. We use world cafe style which gives every person in the room a voice, not just the loudest voice. We workshop the key issues in small groups and look at possible solutions. This information forms the basis for our volunteer taskforces to develop their strategic reports.

Some of the key things we ask:

1. The biggest challenges facing us today (priorities)

2. Look more closely at the challenges – where do we want to be in the future ie what does success look like? What are the critical driving influences and what are some of the possible solutions to bring us closer to our vision for the future.
