I joined the Shaping our Future board to further my interest in community-led development and better understand the opportunities and challenges facing our district. I am also on the board of Environment Hubs Aotearoa, which has given me a deeper appreciation of the incredible mahi undertaken by community groups across Aotearoa New Zealand.

A regular visitor since 1987, I moved to Wānaka in 2017 with my husband Geoff and our two dogs, Moose and Mango. I began working for WAI Wānaka and became immersed in the for-purpose sector, gaining funding experience and strengthening my communication and collaboration skills.

I am an accountant, a member of the IOD and a mentor for Business Mentors NZ. I’ve been fortunate to have a varied corporate career that spans multiple sectors including Manufacturing, Wholesale, Retail, IT, FMCG, Professional Services and Financial Services.
