Whakatipu Freshwater Forum
A workstream where the community shared their views on the challenges, priorities, and ideal future of freshwater via public forums and online submissions.
A taskforce was formed and produced a report with recommendations for further action which Shaping our Future is committed to progress.
The critical recommendation is for the formation of a new group comprised of key stakeholders that are tasked with developing a Whakatipu Freshwater Management Plan.
